Norwegian motorcyclists receive a road safety award

At the FIM Awards 2017, FEMA’s Norwegian member NMCU was awarded the FIM Road Safety Award.

NMCU was awarded the prize for the Full Control project, that includes a booklet and a video that give riding tips for new motorcyclists and for more experienced riders as well.

NMCU’s Geir Strand: “Although the film is primarily made for fresh motorcyclists of any age, we believe that even the experienced can benefit from seeing it. Full Control film is made by bikers for bikers.”

NMCU’s Geir Strand continues: “There are some people who specifically must be put in the spotlight for their efforts. Without these, we wouldn’t have a book and a movie. The book has been translated into many languages and can greatly benefit the new and experenced bikers around the world. NMCU would like to thank their partners If Insurance and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration for financial support for the film project.”
