FEMA welcomes a new member organization

On Saturday 5 October 2019, the FEMA Committee meeting was held in Brussels, with representatives from motorcyclists’ organizations from all over Europe. During this meeting we welcomed Belgian organization Fédémot as a new probationary member.

At the FEMA Committee meeting, Maria Nordqvist from Swedish motorcyclists’ association SMC was awarded the David Dingley Memorial Award by Jim Freeman, chairman of the British Motorcylists Federation (BMF). The award was given to Maria for services to motorcycling. Maria has been an active player in riders’ rights for twenty years. This is the second time the award was given out; the first award was given to Morten Hansen from the Norwegian motorcyclists’ organization NMCU in 2017, in recognition of his work.
