Road safety for Dutch riders

Today FEMA took part in a meeting of the Dutch Motorcycle Platform, which is formed by representatives of the government, riders’ interest groups, the motorcycle industry and retail, and road safety organisations. The objective of the Motorcycle Platform is to increase road safety for motorcyclists.

FEMA’s General Secretary, Wim Taal, is on the Board of the Motorcycle Platform on behalf of FEMA. He took the opportunity to hand out copies of the FEMA/SMC report ‘Safer roads for motorcyclists – Moving towards a systematic approach for motorcycle safety’, as a European contribution to the Dutch discussion on road safety for motorcyclists.
